Two days in a row now, they have put up the Winners Dog for Best of Opposite, over the two dog specials.  They like the big ones in Texas I guess.  Even the puppy bitch that is getting Winners Bitch is bigger than Cash and Leilani.  The Breed winner is a big bitch, or at least looks it, compared to the rest of the dogs.  And before you start bitching about my opinion, remember THIS IS AMERICA, and I am entitled to my opinion.  You don't have to agree, and if you really don't like it, change the channel.

There may have been a BOS or a Select, but not what we strive for, expect, or are used to.  There are probably ribbons that other people would be happy with, but not us, with the quality of dogs that Dave is showing.

Dave is sad about it all, and mad about some of it. 
I am thinking about sending breed standards to some of the judges.

It has been said that:  Yesterday is Past, Tomorrow is Future, and Today is a Gift.  That's why they call it 'The Present'  
Well I want to re-gift this one!

SAD NOTE ABOUT THE WEEKEND:  
AKC JUDGE LUIS SOSA IS THE PHOTOGRAPHER.  
WE HAVE ALL OF THESE WINS AND NO PHOTOS.  
I have strongly recommended to my husband David that he never take a show photo when this man is the show photographer.
We have NEVER had a good photo from this man, and we have had a letter threatening that he would refuse to take our win photos if we didn't start purchasing them off of his website.  WELL MR. SOSA, I would love to have good win photos of my dogs, but the key word is GOOD.  I don't enjoy paying $50 for a photo then having to spend time try to make it look like it should have looked to begin with.  As photographer, you are the only one who can see what my dog is going to look like in the photo.  If a stack or coat correction needs to be made, TELL ME!!!  I don't want to have my dog in a stack that feels right and have him take a step forward at the last minute or have hair going all the wrong direction.  When I take photos, I want them to look great.  It is my name on that as photographer and I take pride in my work.  I wish you did. - DARLENE SCHEIRIS

Interesting turn of events in the dog classes.  Wynn, a dog who came from Norway, whose owner told Dave that when he was shown in the US, If Carolyne Cybulske didn't show him, Dave would be his handler, was Winners Dog.  The handler who was showing Wynn, won the 12-18 month class, then also won the Open class with a dog he co-bred and co-owns.  The handler stayed on the dog he owns. and put an assistant on Wynn who did everything in their power, short of tripping the dog to make Wynn lose.  Wynn would have none of that though, finally he moved out so much that the assistant had to move to keep up with him, and the judge couldn't not see him, so gave Wynn winners dog and best of winners.  Note to Wynn's owner:  We would not have a dog entered directly against your dog without your knowledge (not saying you didn't know), and if we did, and if both dogs won their classes, we would have stayed on your dog.  So, your dog won, because he is a great dog, in spite of who you hired.  Just sayin'….
