Selena - Best of Opposite
Zeus - Select
Boo - 1st / Winners Dog - 3 point Major!
Thank You Judge Charlotte Patterson
If Boo hadn't takend Winners Dog, I might have had to strangle him!  He peed not five minutes before entering the ring and on the last go round in the open class he started to pee and wouldn't stop.  I couldn't even get him to move off of the mat.  That ended up being a good thing because the ridges in mat directed the urine away from Boo.  He peed so much that if he had been on the concrete, the hair on all four feet and his belly would have been wet.  It took about a dozen paper towels for me to clean it up.  Bill Frazier got it all on video so watch for that.  But what will the title be?  Air Traffic Controller Retires to Become Janitor at Dog Shows   or   She Flies, She Grooms, She Cooks, She Cleans Pee...all suggestions welcome.

We had an unusually tiny ring, which we would normally have complained about, but it allowed Dave to show Selena today.  She moves out at the end of a 6 ft lead, so he only had to take 2 steps and she was at the end of the diagonal and he told her to turn.  He just turned around let her pass him and told her to stop in front of the judge.  Don't know what would have happened if she had taken the Breed.  I probably would have taken her into Group.  Dave had his heavy duty 'football' brace on under his suit pants, and used a crutch for the weekend except for those few minutes in the ring.  With Selena, there was no need for him to get down on the ground with her and she is perfectly trained so wasn't a big stress on him.  In fact, one handler asked me if Selena really needed Dave.  She reminds me of my first show Bichon, Geneva.  My nephew thought he won Best Junior by showing her at a match, when the rest of us knew that she was the one in charge.  BUT, to give Dave his 'props,'  HE DID TRAIN HER!  Good Job.

Congratulations to Leo Merman and his Black Russian Terrier, Teddy.  Teddy was expertly shown by handler Lisa Bettis, winning Best of Breed both days, and a Group 3 on Sunday!
Nice wins for a very nice dog.
